Summary of the Pomeranian Workshops !

On Sunday 5 and Monday 5 November 2023, we organised two workshops focusing on the Pomeranian in collaboration with Mélanie Schmit, THE specialist in this breed.

Mélanie is a diligent, attentive and caring teacher who brilliantly shares her passion, knowledge and secrets for perfect Pomeranian grooming, both for customers at the show and for presentation at competitions and exhibitions.

Memorable moments of the day:

Theory: the days began with a theory course on good Pomeranian grooming practices. Mélanie Schmit shared her knowledge and advice with the participants, explaining in detail the important steps that are often overlooked when grooming a Spitz. She talked about skin diseases and the breed's particular coat type, and she also revealed a few secrets, including her favourite Diamex products for building coat and skin and keeping the coat perfectly groomed and healthy for a perfect finish.

Practice: during the workshops, the participants had the opportunity to put into practice the
lessons given during the theoretical course. Mélanie Schmit, an applied trainer, gave a demonstration at each stage. Participants had the opportunity to watch Mélanie at work and listen to her advice, before applying it to their model.

Friendly days: the two days of training were full of joy, good humour and sharing. Each participant did an extraordinary job on their model, and the observers were incredibly diligent and attentive. We would like to thank Mélanie Schmit for her teaching, her passion and her kindness, as well as all those present, who made these two days such a success.
