An enriching experience for grooming lovers!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pomeranian Workshop was so successful that we had to split it into two days to meet the increased demand for participation. So on 20 and 21 October 2024, Laboratoire Diamex organised two days of training dedicated to Pomeranian grooming. These workshops brought together more than thirty professionals and private individuals with a passion for grooming, keen to expand their knowledge and perfect their techniques in a friendly, supportive environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshops led by M\u00e9lanie Schmit, THE breed specialist! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both workshops were led by Pomeranian expert M\u00e9lanie Schmit. Her extensive experience and passion for this breed enabled participants to acquire high-level skills, while benefiting from personalised advice. The workshops were structured around detailed theoretical explanations and practical demonstrations covering the entire grooming process, from bathing and finishing to specific cutting and care techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High-quality teaching! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with all her workshops, M\u00e9lanie began with a theoretical session during which she discussed how to handle and care for a Pomeranian\u2019s coat, the dog\u2019s anatomy, skin conditions, and common misconceptions about grooming. M\u00e9lanie pays particular attention to the use of the right grooming products, such as professional shampoos and conditioners by Diamex, to ensure a healthy coat. Brushing and drying techniques \u2013 which are often overlooked \u2013 were also covered in depth to teach participants and observers how to provide the appropriate care for this breed\u2019s distinctive coat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day continued with the practical session, during which each participant had the opportunity to replicate the techniques that M\u00e9lanie had meticulously demonstrated and explained. They learnt how to adapt grooming techniques to suit the dog\u2019s body shape and were given tips on working on more delicate areas such as the head, paws and tail, to ensure a harmonious and balanced result. The training session concluded with an interactive session where participants were able to ask questions and receive personalised feedback on their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A space for discussion and professional development <\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the technical aspects, these workshops also provided an opportunity for groomers to share their personal experiences. The breaks and informal get-togethers allowed participants to chat freely amongst themselves and with M\u00e9lanie, creating a genuine group dynamic that fostered learning. The warm and collaborative atmosphere helped to make these two days a particularly enriching experience, both on a personal and professional level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An experience not to be missed! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pomeranian Workshops held on 20 and 21 October 2024 were undeniably a success. Thanks to M\u00e9lanie Schmit\u2019s high-quality teaching, these two days enabled those in attendance to hone their skills and exchange ideas with other enthusiasts of the breed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
